Chloramphenicol [Chloromycetin] 0.5% w/v Eye Drops are used for the relief of symptoms in the eye, caused by infection. The infected eye will probably be red, gritty or itchy. The antibiotic, chloramphenicol [Chloromycetin], will help to kill the bacteria (germs).

The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) types contained in the vaccine (HPV types 16 and 18) are responsible for approximately 70% of cervical cancer cases. Other HPV types can also cause cervical cancer. Cervarix does not protect against all HPV types.

Celsentri is an antiretroviral medicine used in the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus type-1 (HIV-1) infection. Its active ingredient, maraviroc, belongs to a group of medicines called CCR5 antagonists. Celsentri prevents the entry of HIV-1 into the cells in your blood that are attacked by HIV (called CD4 or T-cells). Celsentri works by blocking a receptor called CCR5 that HIV use to gain entry into these cells.

Cephalexin belongs to a class of antibiotics called ‘cephalosporins’ which are used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Cephalexin Oral Suspension is used to treat infections of the airways from nose to lung, ear, bones and joints, and urine or reproduction systems, including inflammation of the prostate gland. It is also used to treat dental infections.

Cayston is an antibiotic used to suppress chronic lung infection caused by the bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa in adult patients with cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis, also known as mucoviscidosis, is a life-threatening inherited disease that affects the mucus glands of internal organs, especially the lungs, but also of the liver, pancreas, and the digestive system. Cystic fibrosis in the lungs leads to clogging them with thick sticky mucus. This makes it hard to breathe.

The active substance in Canesten Oral Capsule (Diflucan) is fluconazole. Fluconazole belongs to a group of medicines called azoles and is an antifungal agent which fights the cause of infections such as thrush.

Information about some of the ingredients: This medicine contains 3 g of sorbitol per 20 ml. This provides 7.8 kcal per 20 ml. Each 20 ml contains 3000 mg of alcohol (ethanol), equivalent to 76 ml of beer or 32 ml of wine.

Check the tube seal is not broken before first use. If it is, do not use the gel. Most people will not have problems, but some may get some. !   If you get any of these serious side effects, stop using the gel. See a doctor at once: Difficulty in breathing, swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat (severe allergic reactions)

Stir paste well before use. For use on the skin only. Apply liberally to the affected area and cover with a clean dressing. If symptoms do not go away or you need to use it regularly talk to your doctor.

This medicine is an antiseptic liquid. It can be used: This medicine is for adults and children, but may not be suitable for everyone. Do not use for prolonged periods of time, or over large areas of skin.
