Atripla is a treatment for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection in adults aged 18 and over who have previously been treated with other antiretroviral medicines and have their HIV-1 infection under control for at least three months. Ambirix is a vaccine used in infants, children and adolescents from 1 year up to and including 15 years to prevent two infectious diseases: hepatitis A and hepatitis B. The vaccine works by causing the body to produce its own protection (antibodies) against these infectious diseases.

These bacteria are highly contagious and can cause serious and sometimes life-threatening infections such as meningitis (infection around the brain or spinal cord) or septicaemia (blood poisoning).
